Are you a real business or just a guy with a laptop?+
Both. My name is Daniel Amira. I started my IT support business in 2019. I'm a fully independent tech expert with years of hands-on experience, and I run my business solo. No middleman. Straightforward and simple.
Do you actually know what you're doing, or are you self-taught?+
I've worked with computers my entire life and have been providing IT support professionally since 2019. I'm self-taught through hands-on experience, real-world problem solving, and continuous learning. If I don't already know something, I research it properly and do it the right way.
Can I trust you with my computer or my personal files?+
100%! I treat your data like it's my own — private, secure, and off-limits to anyone else. If you need me to sign an NDA, I will gladly do so.
How much do you charge? Are your prices fair?+
As my motto goes: "Fast. Reliable. Affordable." I'm transparent and competitive. I don't charge big company rates, but I deliver real results. Check out my full pricing on the Services page.
Do you only do remote support, or can you come to me?+
I offer both. Remote support is available anytime, and in-person help is available on-site (within range) or by drop-off at my private office in Great Neck. During the summer, please schedule in advance — I'm typically available early mornings before 9 AM or late evenings after 7 PM.
Is this your full-time job?+
I run my IT support business independently and take my clients seriously. Availability varies by season and all services are by appointment. During busier periods, scheduling in advance is recommended.
Do you fix phones too, or just computers?+
I primarily focus on laptops, desktops, iMacs, MacBooks, and occasionally servers. I don't typically repair tablets or phones as I don't have the right equipment for them. That said, feel free to reach out anyway — I'm happy to help however I can.
What makes you different from Geek Squad or a big IT company?+
I care. I won't rush you and I'll actually listen to what you need. I'm your tech guy, not a random rep who passes your issue around and wastes your time.
Are you available after hours or on weekends?+
I'm flexible. Text or call and I'll do my best to work around your schedule. Just know I'm one person, so availability varies — especially in summer. Also, Thursdays tend to be my busiest day!
Do you give free advice?+
Within reason, yes. I don't charge just to answer a few questions. If the issue requires hands-on work or extended troubleshooting, normal service rates apply.
What if I'm not happy with your service?+
Just be honest with me. I want you to feel good about the work I do. If something doesn't feel right, we'll talk it through and find a fair solution.
What if I don't know what's wrong with my computer?+
No problem at all. Just reach out and describe what you're experiencing — even something like "my computer is acting weird" is enough. I'll diagnose the issue, explain it in plain English, and walk you through the next steps.
Do you work with businesses as well as home users?+
Yes. I work with both residential clients and small businesses. Whether it's a personal computer, a home setup, or ongoing support for a small office, I tailor my services to what you actually need.
Do you offer a referral discount?+
Absolutely — most of my business comes from referrals! New clients referred by a friend receive $15 off their first service. Existing clients receive a $15 credit toward their next service when their referral becomes a paying client.
